Of the top leading companies in the oil & gas industry, Chesapeake Energy had the greatest increase in references for shale in Q1 2023, compared with the previous quarter. GlobalData identified 111 shale-related sentences in the company's filings - 6% of all sentences - and an increase of 100% in Q1 2023 compared with Q1 2022. Diamondback Energy’s mentions of shale rose by 800% to 106 and Energy Transfer’s by 100% to 63 and Hess’s by 100% to 61 and EOG Resources’s by 100% to 57.
