Notably, lng was one of the most frequently referenced themes in Q1 2023, ranking highest in terms of mentions, ahead of artificial intelligence and blockchain, according to GlobalData.

Of the top leading companies in the oil & gas industry, Cheniere Energy had the greatest increase in references for lng in Q1 2023, compared with the previous quarter. GlobalData identified 335 lng-related sentences in the company's filings - 21% of all sentences - and an increase of 100% in Q1 2023 compared with Q1 2022. Cheniere Energy Partners’s mentions of lng rose by 100% to 235 and Woodside Energy Group’s by 100% to 208 and PTT Public’s by 100% to 131 and Repsol’s by 100% to 85.
